For 50 years, Franklin Furnace has been on a mission to make the world safe for avant-garde art — preserving what other institutions overlook, funding early-career performance artists, and defending the right to make work that’s ephemeral, politically risky, or out of step with the mainstream.
That mission matters more than ever. Your gift helps us protect artists through the culture wars, keep sending performance artists into NYC public schools through our SEQ Arts program, and sustain the archive that holds five decades of avant-garde history.
All donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for keeping the Furnace lit.
