Franklin Furnace netcasting tips:

During our programming season, THE HISTORY OF THE FUTURE, we will be netcasting every Friday from Pseudo Online Network, at 5 PM EST. Following each 1/2 hour performance, at 5:30 PM, there will be a 1/2 hour online chat for audience participants and the presenting artists to discuss performance art, art on the web, or anything else that comes to mind.

How to watch a netcast:
To logon, go to and choose Franklin Furnace from the shows listed. Choose play current show at 5 PM EST on Fridays beginning October 8, 1999 and experience. You will need RealPlayer™. You may download this free from (it will take about 1/2 hour to download this player using a 28.8 modem).

How to chat:
From the Franklin Furnace page, at, click on archive link to the current performance (located at the bottom of the page). Once you are viewing the netcast, click "More Interaction" that will launch a chat window. If you are a member you just need to sign in. If you are not, you may sign in (it only takes a minute) or you may logon as a guest.

To view archived netcasts:
The chat is a live event and will only happen once, but the netcast is archived for viewing at anytime after the netcast date. To view an archived netcast from this season or last season, go to and click on the season you would like to view. Pick the artist you want to watch and experience. You will need RealPlayer™ for this as well.
