1996, 6 - 17" x 14" color ink jet prints of commercial portraits of Gabriel Martinez with miniature multiples of the portrait pictures available to be taken away by visitors and red dot "sold" stickers applied by visitors to the surface of the large prints.

PLANET and EIES Teleconferences 1979-1981,

Conferees including: Frank Gillette in New York and Brendan O'Regan, Director of Research of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, in San Francisco. The PLANET conference also included physician Richard Chilgren in Hawaii, David Ross then Curator of the University Museum, Univ. of Cal., Berkeley, and the sculptor Charles Frazier. The EIES conference was sponsored by The Film and Video Department of the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and included John G. Hanhardt, Curator of Film and Video at the Whitney, James Harithas, former Director of the Everson Museum in Syracuse, New York, and Steven Poser, a writer (trained in philosophy) who assisted Hanhardt, in co-ordinating and evaluating the conference.

Five interactive on-line artist projects have been specially presented on the Thing for IN THE FLOW: "uniCity" by Susan Goldman, "happier.days" by Christopher Roth and Franz Stauffenberg, "Three Voices and One Melody" by Zhang Ga, Order a Theft, by Christine Meierhofer, "Net bikini" by Eva Grubinger . In addition, Ursula Endlicher plans a series of on-line impersonations called "You'll see me, but it will be you."

The Thing also contributed greatly to the production of the In The Flow web site.

The on-line projects were available on computer terminals in the gallery throughout the duration of the exhibition.
