Exhibition continues through June 30, 2006

Martha Wilson, Founding Director of Franklin Furnace Archive, Inc. and Sean Keaton, Principal of P.S. 20, Brooklyn, invite you to an exhibition of the work of children in Miss Antonella Vitale’s fifth-grade class. This exhibition is the culmination of a pilot partnership between Franklin Furnace and P.S. 20, and of a ten-week Sequential Art for Kids photography workshop by teaching artist Benita Abrams, assisted by Kiersten Lukason.

Franklin Furnace wishes to thank the supporters of Sequential Art for Kids, which has for 20 years provided comprehensive onsite art activities that integrate into existing school curricula and improve the academic performance and social skills of children: The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation, The Bay and Paul Foundation, The JPMorgan Chase Foundation, The Cowles Charitable Trust, The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, The New York Times Company Foundation, and the New York State Council on the Arts. Thanks to the BAM Local Development Corporation for use of the lobby of 80 Arts.
