Art in Context: AUCTIONING GREAT ART FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Artwork valuing over $116,000.00

NEW YORK, March 1, 2002 - Art in Context Center for Communications announces that it will hold a benefit exhibition and silent art auction to assist the virtual library's Art in Context web site and the New York Arts Recovery Fund beginning on Thursday, March 21 and continuing through Tuesday, March 26 at Schmidt Bingham Gallery. A public reception and closing bids will be held at the gallery on Tuesday evening, March 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The artwork will be available for preview, phone bids, and information, March 1 on the Web at www.artincontext.org. Works for the auction contributed by internationally renowned artists:
