Alvin Eng, FF Alumn, reads new play, The 'N' Word, TONITE, June 27th, 2002, 8 PM.

On next Th.ursday, June 27th, at 8 pm, Alvin Eng will have a reading of a new play, "The 'N Word'" (it's not the one you think…he thinks). The play is an absurdy, wordy two-character comedy that has the characters "Passive" and "Aggressive" facing off just outside of a community/group of people that they used to belong to.

"Passive" will be read by the veteran NYC actor, Jim Cyrus, "Aggressive" by Aileen Cho-a self-proclaimed "highly irregular presence on the NYC spoken word/performance art scene" and a featured performer with Peeling.

The reading of "The 'N Word,'" next Th., June 27 at 8 pm, is part of the Immigrant Theatre Project's "American Dreams" series at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum Theatre, located at 97 Orchard St. (between Broome and Delancey, F to Delancey, J, M,Z to Essex or M15 bus to Delancey).
