Nancy Alfaro
has worked with many Avant-Garde luminaries in both dance and theatre. She has performed with Robert Wilson, Meredith Monk, Ping Chong, Jane Comfort & Co., Mark Dendy and Elizabeth/Ringside Inc.

She has created commissioned works for the Repertory Dance Company Soundance, and her choreography and performance has been presented by St. Mark's Dancespace, Dia Center for the Art, Dixon Place Govanus Arts Exchange and P.S. 122.

Sex and the Single Mother, a one person show that uses text, movement, and music by the movie score genius Max Steiner, tells a personal story of seriocomic proportions. A middle aged, single mother, stuck in a small city appartment wonders if her only refuge is the fire escape - or is it the fireman?
